To do so, you needed to pass the test for that skill area plus the Elementary Knowledge of the Publishing Process test. By passing all four tests, you earned your Certified Professional Editor (CPE) credential. Today, you can become certified in four areas:
To do so, you need to pass only the test for that skill area. By passing all four tests, you earn your Certified Professional Editor (CPE) credential. To maintain your certification, you must fulfill maintenance requirements. Editors certified after passing tests written in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 are not required to fulfill maintenance requirements. |
