The EAC’s 2010 Conference will be held at Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec’s (BAnQ’s) Grande Bibliothèque, located at 475 Maisonneuve Blvd East in Montreal, QC.
EAC is pleased to announce that special rates have been negotiated for conference attendees at the following hotels, which are all located within walking distance of the Grande Bibliothèque.
Rooms are subject to availability so be sure to book early! To take advantage of a special rate, you must make your reservation by the cut-off date indicated. Reservations made after the cut-off date may be subject to higher rates. Room reservations and charges are the responsibility of conference attendees.

AIR TRAVEL

There are many options available to transport conference attendees from Montreal-Trudeau Airport to downtown Montreal. Public transportation, taxis, limos, shuttles and rental cars are all available upon arrival. TRAIN TRAVEL
VIA Rail Canada is offering EAC conference attendees 10% off best available fares in Economy, Business or Sleeper Class. Note that this discount does not apply to Economy Special Fare (YS) or Business Supersaver Fare (JX). The discount is valid for return travel between the various cities throughout the VIA system and Montreal from May 27 to May 31, 2010.
Note the following restrictions: One stopover is allowed at no additional charge. For travel on Business Class fare plans, however, that stopover must take place at Toronto or Ottawa. Fare applies to a maximum of two passengers in the same booking. Book online at www.viarail.ca using the EAC conference discount code 11961. You can also book by phone at 1 888 VIA RAIL (1-888-842-7245).
For online bookings: Once you have logged into your profile, or created one if you do not already have one (you must have a profile to make a booking), make your reservation. Towards the end of the booking process, on the Passenger Information screen, fill in the Discount Code box with code 11961 to receive the EAC conference discount. The recalculated fare will be shown on the next page.
BUS TRAVEL
