Conference 2006 - June 9—11, 2006, Vancouver, BC

The BC Branch of the Editors' Association of Canada hopes you will join us from Friday, June 9 to Sunday, June 11, 2006 on the supernatural shores of Vancouver, BC, for our national conference—where we will explore the diverse world of editing.

  • Seminars on key trends and developments
  • Workshops on practices affecting editors
  • Networking opportunities
  • Pre-conference and post-conference events

Special events will include:

  • Wayson Choy, award winning author, will be our keynote speaker on Saturday June 10
  • The Tom Fairley Award for Editorial Excellence, EAC/ACR's annual award recognizing an editor's outstanding contribution to a work published in Canada in English or in French, will be presented at the gala banquet on Saturday evening

Discount airline travel and car rental will be available for conference participants. Stay tuned.

Just noticed that the French version of the site is due to be available in 2005--you might want to change that to 2006 now we're in the new year.
