Beds for Eds: the EAC-NCR conference billet service

Travelling to Ottawa for EAC’s 2012 conference? Want to save money, meet local members, and see Ottawa from a resident’s point of view?

EAC-NCR is offering home-stay beds to out-of-towners. I’ve been both a billeting host and a guest for EAC events: I enjoyed the visits, and I’ve made some lasting friendships this way.

If you’d like to book in with Beds for Eds, please contact me at macfie@editors.ca. I’ll send you a questionnaire about your preferences and then match you with a host.

See you in Ottawa, and bon voyage.
