I am a business and management editor-writer who works with organizations in the private, public and not-for profit sectors. I am the former editor of the Ivey Business Journal, a former editor with CIBC World Markets and an associate editor of Leader to Leader (Frances Hesselbein Leadership Institute). Time Magazine, The Globe and Mail, and Financial Post are some of the publications I have written for. I have also worked in business, in corporate communications, and sales and marketing management, and my familiarity with that environment enables me to understand the audience, context and goal of a specific assignment. My editing and writing skills span the spectrum of vehicles ranging from annual reports, speeches and newsletters to media, investor and public relations materials. Clarity, fluidity and concision are extremely important to me. I am the founding editor of Montage, the magazine of the (film) Directors Guild of Canada, which received a National Magazine Award for Best New Magazine, and Food and Drink, the consumer magazine of the Liquor Control Board of Ontario. I am also a former editor of Canadian Fundraiser and Philanthropy. I am based in Toronto but can travel to asssignments. All of my work is underwritten by a commitment to confidentiality.
