Stellar speakers and sessions

Want to learn the latest tools and technologies, discover new career niches and increase your value in the job market? In one jam-packed weekend, Conference 2014 offers expert speakers, 40+ sessions, and tremendous value for editors and communication professionals of all disciplines.

The conference team is excited to offer both French and bilingual sessions. Bilingual sessions allow francophone and anglophone editors to attend the same session and network with a wider array of colleagues.

Connections

From sessions to coffee breaks, lunches and everything in between, the conference weekend is full of opportunities to catch up with old friends and to make new connections with colleagues from across Canada and abroad.

We've extended EAC's discounted member rate to MagNet's 2014 conference attendees, and members of the Indexing Society of Canada, the Professional Writers Association of Canada, the Association of Registered Graphic Designers, Plain Language Association InterNational and the American Copy Editors Society. This is your opportunity to network with like-minded professionals who are passionate about words and communication.

Celebration!

The awards banquet on Saturday, June 7, is where we'll celebrate outstanding Canadian editors. Tickets are still available, so join us as we present the prestigious 30th annual Tom Fairley Award for Editorial Excellence, the Claudette Upton Scholarship, the President's Awards for Volunteer Service and the Lee d'Anjou Volunteer of the Year Award.

Want to network at EAC Conference 2014, but can't commit to the entire weekend? Consider purchasing a ticket to attend the Saturday evening awards banquet or the opening reception on Friday, June 6. Both of these occasions are terrific opportunities to mix and mingle with your colleagues in a festive atmosphere and enjoy some great food.
