Larissa D'Silva

As a communicator, I strive to help the author develop a clear message that is written and presented in a simple, yet engaging, style. My strength is in working with complex subject material and presenting it simply and clearly.

I’m experienced in writing and editing research reports, blogs, grant proposals, presentations, and policy briefs.

I have worked for the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences (CAHS), Bow Valley College, the Canada West Foundation, and Alberta WaterSMART. All of these roles required an eye for detail and the ability to edit for grammar, structure, and style. In 2016, I set up my own writing and editing business.

I have a certificate in professional editing from Mount Royal University. In addition to being a member of the Editors’ Association of Canada, I'm also a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and the Writers' Guild of Alberta.
