Wanted: Even More Editors — 2,008 in 2008

Do you know an editor who doesn't belong to EAC — yet?

Refer a new EAC member by December 31, 2008, and you'll earn a recruiting reward of up to $25.

The Editors' Association of Canada/Association canadienne des réviseurs is launching phase 2 of this year's membership recruiting initiative, with a goal of increasing membership from 1,776 to 2,008 in 2008.

Our spring recruiting drive resulted in more than 70 new members. This fall we want to reach even more.

Use the popular recruiting postcards and our website to

  • Show prospective members the benefits of membership.
  • Help EAC grow and gain a stronger voice for editors.
  • Reward yourself with a little "found" money.

Read the Rules

  • Each recruiting member will receive $25 for each person who takes out and pays for a new voting or qualifying membership by December 31, 2008.
  • Each recruiting member will receive $12.50 for each person who takes out and pays for a new student membership by December 31, 2008.
  • A former voting, qualifying or student member whose membership has lapsed for a full year can be counted as a new member for this recruitment drive.
  • Members of the national executive council and association employees are not eligible for rewards.
