EAC Francophone Affairs Town Hall – March 6, Gatineau

Have you ever wanted to tell the national executive council where to go … with services for francophone members? This is your chance to be heard.

All EAC members are invited to attend a town hall to discuss francophone issues and services.

Join the national executive council and many of our branch executives as we reveal preliminary analysis from the recent national membership survey and discuss member benefits and services for our francophone and bilingual members.

The national executive council is considering creating a Director of Francophone Affairs position on the council to ensure there is a francophone voice in the association's leadership. How can our association engage our French-speaking members? How can we facilitate the delivery of further quality services to our francophone and bilingual members? Join the discussion!

Members of the Conference Committee will also be on hand to give us a preview of Conference 2010 – Reflections: Editing Content and Culture. Find out what's in store at the Montreal conference, which takes place May 28 to 30, 2010, at the Grand Bibliothèque of Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec.

Following the town hall, attendees are invited to mix and mingle at a pay-as-you-go dinner hosted by the NCR branch at Piz'za-za Restaurant and Wine Bar (36 Laval St., Gatineau) at 7 p.m. on March 6. To RSVP for the dinner, send your name and email address to ncr@editors.ca.
