EAC web content freeze lifted

Dear members,

The migration of EAC's web pages to a new server is underway. Our tech team ran into some snags along the way so this has taken longer than anticipated. We apologize for the delay, but are pleased to report the team made a lot of progress in the last couple of weeks. There is still work to be done to complete the migration, but we are now lifting the web content freeze that was instituted last week.

Web content freeze lifted

EAC webmasters, blog managers and anyone who has an ODE/membership list profile may now update their EAC web pages.

The e-commerce portal for purchasing and registering for EAC products and services (including membership renewal and certification test registration) is hosted on a different server and was not affected by the freeze.

What's next

The tech team's work on EAC's web pages continues. The team may institute further web content freezes to complete the project. The national office will keep members advised via e-blasts, the association website and social media.

The migration of EAC's email accounts will begin once the web page work is complete.

If you are having trouble accessing EAC's web services, contact the national office at techsupport@editors.ca.

Thanks for your patience.
