The migration of EAC's web pages is in its final stages. Our tech team needs to freeze our web content to complete the move of EAC's web pages to a new, more stable server.
Web freeze in effect Wednesday, August 28 (no updates to EAC web pages, including ODE profiles)
This Wednesday we ask that all users (including EAC webmasters, blog managers and anyone who has an ODE/membership list profile) refrain from making updates to their EAC web pages. Any web page revisions that are made during the freeze will not be carried over when we re-launch on the new server.
The national office will inform members as soon as the web page freeze is over. We anticipate re-launching on Thursday, August 29.
The e-commerce portal for purchasing and registering for EAC products and services (including membership renewal and certification test registration) is hosted on a different server and is not affected by the freeze.
Email account migration tentatively scheduled for early September
Migration of the @editors.ca and @reviseurs.ca email accounts is tentatively scheduled for early September. The web development and networking team is looking for ways to make this transition as seamless as possible.
The national office will provide more information (including instructions for navigating any changes in services) as it becomes available.
If you are having trouble accessing EAC's web services, contact the national office at email@example.com.
Thanks for your continued patience as we transition to EAC's new server.
