I've been a fully employed freelance editor and  writer  for more than 25 years. My key strength: interpretation and translation – that is, taking technical, scientific or jargon-loaded texts or ideas and turning them into language that target readers will understand. 

I work with large corporations and small businesses, government at all levels, planners and consultants ... on short-term projects with one or two people, and on long-term projects with a score of people (including authors, committee members and subject matter experts).  

Government reports of all types, educational/training manuals, science articles for lay readers, annual reports, occupational guidelines, corporate news bulletins – these are just a few of my favourite things.
