Imogen Brian

Profile

A graduate of Queen's University with a BA in English and graduate studies in linguistics, I have enjoyed working as an editor for the past 16 years. I have experience in substantive, stylistic, and copy editing. I have worked extensively, both in-house and as a freelancer, on academic texts in the humanities and social sciences, specializing in history and psychology. This experience, along with my love of language and skill with the written word, makes me well qualified to edit educational and nonfiction manuscripts. I also teach editing and writing workshops, of value to any company wanting to improve the quality of its written communication.
