Profile

My specialty is indexing. With an MA (English) and an MEd (Secondary English), I am a generalist who enjoys indexing and editing projects in many subject areas. A friendly and collaborative worker, I will deliver your project on time and to your specifications.

As a former high school teacher and teacher-librarian, I bring valuable experience when editing and indexing educational materials at all levels. Recent projects include indexing textbooks and editing parent and teacher support materials. For the past five years I have edited online distance education courses, primarily in social studies.

As an indexer of government documents, I have extensive experience indexing committee transcripts, policy manuals, and statutes. Indexing projects include the Alberta Rules of Court, the Municipal Government Act, Alberta Hansard MLA committee transcripts, the Alberta Workers’ Compensation Board Policy Manual, the Occupational Health and Safety Code, and career publications. Major editing projects include a substantive edit and rewrite of What Works: Career-Building Strategies for People from Diverse Groups.

A flexible and dedicated worker, I will work with you to clarify your needs and to provide a quality publication for your reader.
