I am a freelance editor and photographer in Kingston, Ontario. My editorial work has ranged from children's and young adult fiction and non-fiction to general trade publishing, as well as academic research papers and theses. I have particular interests in travel writing, health and medicine, trade non-fiction, and young adult fiction. I am experienced in photo research, fact checking, and the Canadianization of foreign works.

I have an honours bachelor in English and Classics from Queen's University as well as a diploma in Book and Magazine Publishing from Centennial College. I speak Latin and have a strong background in etymology and linguistics.

My strengths include a wealth of creative problem-solving and research skills, a veneration for the deadline, and a near-infallible attention to detail.
