I work well with award-winning authors and with committees of experts who aren’t writers. As a book editor, I've had a hand in several classics of Canadian history and politics and some jewels of literary non-fiction. In the wider world, I've worked on party platforms, municipal official plans, government task force reports, business plans, standards of practice, consumer magazines, and a raft of brochures, newsletters, and annual reports for corporations and non-profit groups. Winner, Tom Fairley Award for Editorial Excellence (1983); co-author, Editing Canadian English (1987, 2000).
