Deborah Cooper-Bullock

Profile

I am a trained copy editor, proofreader, and writer who has worked in-house at three well-known Canadian publishing companies. My background includes a Master of Publishing (SFU) and a BA Honours, Co-op (Rhetoric and Professional Writing, UW). I have experience editing educational materials (K–12), academic textbooks, children’s trade fiction/non-fiction, magazines, and monographs. Work as a technical and corporate writer has further honed my skills. I have written, edited, and designed technical documents (online help, installation guides, user guides, and glossaries) and corporate documents (quick reference pamphlets, policy manuals, style guides, competitor analyses, and promotional materials). I provide first-rate work within tight deadlines.
