I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts and Film, and a Masters degree in Publishing - both from Simon Fraser University. I have worked for several in-print and online resources:  as an editorial and design freelancer for Drawn & Quarterly Publications in Montreal, QC; as a substantive and stylistic editor for Engage Publishing in BC; and as a marketing, production and editorial coordinator with NeWest Press in Edmonton, AB. I have experience with academic papers, short stories, novellas, full-length manuscripts, comic books, graphic novels, and screenplays (see credits on my website for a complete list). With respect to editorial work, my passion is mostly stylistic and structural work, but I also have a very strong breadth of knowledge in copy writing, copy editing, proofreading, and some design capabilities as well. My dominant interests are fiction, mystery, sci-fi, fantasy, horror, speculative fiction, film, academia, and social commentary. I have a strong musical and artistic background that I find enhances the quality of my work on many levels.
