In another life, before becoming a copy editor, proofreader, and indexer, I worked in the financial industry for nine years. Now I use that experience when editing financial reports, books, and training materials, and bring the same dedication to editing trade non-fiction, fiction, and educational manuscripts.

During the first three years of my career, my position at a publishing services firm gave me a chance to work on a wide range of material, experience the entire publishing process, and develop my skills. Among other tasks, I ghostwrote two lifestyle books, worked on two large plain language projects, and fact-checked magazine articles and board game questions. As a freelancer, I focus on copy editing, proofreading, and indexing, but bring the depth of my experience to every project. I am committed to doing the job right and delivering it on time.
