My editing experience includes fiction (young adult, children's, and historical fiction), memoirs, auction house catalogues, museum materials, academic dissertations, and textbooks. I have worked for Pearson Education and Scholastic Canada as a freelance copy editor and proofreader of texts in a variety of subject areas including marketing, education, community development, psychology, and essay writing. Other clients include the Royal Ontario Museum and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. In 2008, I graduated from the editing certificate program at George Brown College in Toronto. Formerly an antiques appraiser, I draw upon 13 1/2 years in the auction business to write about antiques. I've ghostwritten articles about antique jewellery for websites, trade journals, and newsletters.
