I am a professional librarian by training, now running my own editing/indexing/consulting business. While I haven't reached the "magic 100 hours" target in many fields, I have both interest and expertise in a number of areas including: reading (widely), cross-stitch embroidery, sewing, gardening, genealogy, bowel diseases (ulcerative colitis), fibromyalgia, music, and cats. I have worked as a librarian in a variety of settings, and I have also been employed as an indexer for a major newspaper. Recently, I edited Suncor's first-ever combined "super application" (submitted to the provincial government) for its new Steepbank Mine oilsands megaproject.
