Richard Therrien

Profile

An editor and ghostwriter in the literary, cultural, academic and nonprofit spheres, with completed projects in Native studies, social justice issues and government policy, my thirty years' experience, including theatre, film, and the literary arts, gives me a unique and broad basis from which to help a variety of clients in getting their message across in a clear, precise and inspiring manner. My credits include  novels and trade non-fiction, creative non-fiction and poetry, as well as major government reports, speeches, policy studies, and academic papers.

As a published author and poet I have first-hand experience of being on both sides of the editor’s pencil, and bring a seasoned and sensitive approach to the creative project.

My firm belief is that, from the simplest instructional manual to the most literary text, all writing is creative. As an editor I become engaged in that creative process.
