Many years freelance experience as copy editor and proofreader of books, papers, and magazines; writer of book reviews, the odd column, and a small newsletter; and composer of back-of-book indexes on a variety of topics, though largely in the areas of religion, politics, Aboriginal concerns, and medicine. Poetry is a passion. Strengths lie in an eye for errors, a healthy respect for deadlines, and a (gentle) obsession with details.
