I have a B.A. (Carleton University, Library and Information Technology Diploma (Algonquin College) and Eight-Step Editing Certificate (Editors' Association of Canada).I have more than 25 years experience in editing undergraduate and master level academic papers. I have proven abilities in public relations, note taking, minute preparation and distribution through my work with non-profit organizations and a private school. I prepare research and promotional materials. I have on-going experience in editing works of fiction. My background includes work with E.S.L., high-interest low-vocabulary, and simple language texts. I have previous experience in the federal government in personnel and adminstration. I am currently employed by a major Board of Education, where I am responsible for a collection of approximately 20,000 items and over 900 clients. I am detail oriented, thorough and have a strong ability to multi-task under strict timelines.
