Susan Mayse

Profile
Helping writers to develop their own clear, powerful voices is my special skill and delight. I have fifteen years of experience in structural, developmental and copy editing of trade nonfiction and fiction. A writer recently told me, “Because you see me as a storyteller and writer, I now see myself that way.” As a writer of fiction and nonfiction, I can carry out a writing project from research to final manuscript. My writing and editing has won national and provincial awards; Maclean’s magazine called me “a writer of astonishing grace and control.”
