Judith van Berkom
Editor – Translator – Information Specialist

Judith specializes in the editing of non-native (specifically Dutch) English writing. She completed  Copy Editing through Ryerson University and has worked internationally and locally in copy editing since.  She holds a BA with a concentration in second language teaching from the University of Ottawa, and a Library and Information Technician diploma from Algonquin College.

Judith translates Dutch into English. She was raised in Canada by Dutch parents, and later moved to the Netherlands for 10 years. She currently resides in Ottawa, Canada. English is her native language, she is fluent in Dutch, and has an intermediate level of French.

Judith has worked in the medical field for many years. Her expertise is in providing information to inform evidence-based decision making in the medical (cardiology in particular) and mental health fields.
