I have over 25 years' editorial experience both as a freelance and in-house editor, including 10 years as managing editor of Self-Counsel Press. I am one of seven partners in West Coast Editorial Associates. I have worked for a wide range of clients in book publishing, professional associations, business, and international organizations. I also teach courses in copy editing, substantive editing, and plain language writing at Simon Fraser University and offer specialized training sessions to other clients as needed.
