When I write or edit, my goal is to make the words sparkle. I have 19 years' editing and proofreading experience, including seven years in the legal arena, and over 25 years' freelance writing experience. Writing people's stories, doing background research (especially medical or crime), evaluating manuscripts and copy editing manuscripts for authors, instructing authors, and writing and editing for businesses are my specialties. Deadlines, details, and accuracy are sacred. I totally immerse myself in whatever I write and edit. When stumped, listening to music, sleeping on it, walking, or weeding my garden usually brings the solution to my consciousness.
