Since completing my post-graduate diploma in book and magazine publishing in 1998, I have worked full time as an editor. I spent my first 6 1/2 years in the industry working in-house and have been freelancing since 2004. My experience includes the line editing and copy editing of novels, textbooks, nonfiction books, business articles, newsletters, university calendars, and more. I am passionate about grammar and have taught a grammar and writing course at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies since 2006. In January 2011, I also began teaching copy editing in Ryerson's publishing certificate program. My interests span many categories, and I am always eager to learn something new through my editing work.
