Words have always been the focus of my work life. I was a newspaper reporter and editor for more than 20 years (positions included Globe and Mail news editor and books editor) before becoming a freelancer in 1997. Versatility, responsibility, and equally great respect for writers and deadlines are among my strengths. The arts, especially music and literature, are my greatest passion, and I recently spent two school years studying jazz. Most of my clients are Ontario-based publishing houses.
