Former editor of Grain magazine, currently editor of Transition.

Editor of proceedings of two international conferences (Cohen 1993, Stephansson 1995), two books of poetry (Szumigalski and Jerrett Enns), one doctoral dissertation (Button), one critical study of Milton (Kuester), and a collection of essays on Saskatchewan writing.

Author of four books of poetry (published), two novels (unpublished), some 100 periodical pieces (published). Writer-in-residence for two years (Festival of Words, Moose Jaw SK).

Director of "Writing for your life," a project to establish writing therapy groups in branches of CMHA(SK).

Jogger, X-country skier, cyclist, fly fisherman, and outdoorsman.
