Words are a lot like seeds. It takes care for them to take root and grow to their potential. Let me be your gardener and help make text clear, concise, and easy to read. 

I am a lifelong learner who has the good fortune to work as a structural and stylistic (developmental) editor, writer, and project manager of el-hi educational materials. What a great way to build on my teaching experience and special interests in literacy, instructional strategies, and assessment, in order to develop materials in my areas of expertise: language arts, math, and science.

I have worked with educational publishers, school boards, non-profit organizations, and individuals to develop and edit print and online materials.

I love what I do and all that I learn. I am inspired by the synergy of writers and editors working together to meet tight deadlines.

Away from my computer, I am outdoors. An enthusiastic gardener, I am an aspiring Miss Rumphius who spreads seeds wherever I go. I also love to camp, hike, paddle, ski, cycle, and practise sun salutations overlooking the lake I live on.
