Language has been my life, ever since I can remember. I have an MA in TESL and taught ESL and English for 20 years in Canada and abroad. I was a lexicographer for Pearson Educational in the UK. From 1998 to 2000, I was an in-house editor for the Open University of Hong Kong, editing course materials, university documents and publications, and the staff newsletter. Since moving to Vancouver in 2000, I have been a freelance editor, specializing in copy editing and proofreading academic work and other non-fiction.
