I get my kicks from finding and felling typos, and helping others polish their written work. My formal academic background includes a B.A. in English Literature and a master’s degree in Library and Information Studies. I have completed several editing and publishing courses towards a certificate in publishing from Ryerson University. Over the past 8 years I have worked as a market researcher and online marketing consultant (including copy writing, copy editing and social media account management).

A writer myself, I have a passion for concise, correct and impactful writing and am sensitive to writer’s needs. I offer professional, honest and respectful feedback on all types of written communication.

My editing specialties include web content, creative writing/fiction and business communications, although I look forward to working with words in any genre. I am a member of the Calgary Association of Freelance Editors (CAFE), the Editors’ Association of Canada and the Writers Guild of Alberta.
