Thirty years of educational publishing experience—both full time and freelance—editing, copy editing, writing, researching, managing. Specialize in elementary reading/language arts, but also experienced in elementary mathematics, science, social studies, and ESL. Have also worked on high school and college texts in many different disciplines. In addition, have considerable experience working on reference books and trade books.

In addition to running my own freelance business for 15 years, full-time publishing positions held include Developmental Editor at Anthology, Inc., an RR Donnelley Company (2004–2009), Senior Editor at Harcourt Supplemental/Rigby Education (2000–2004), and Assistant Editor/Copy Editor at Rand McNally (1973–1980). Also have elementary teaching experience.

Educational background includes a BSE degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin—Whitewater (cum laude) as well as numerous professional development seminars and conferences.
