Are you looking for a tough and thorough non-fiction editor who is also fair and enjoyable to work with? Well here I am … and with some great experience in substantive, structural, and stylistic editing as well as copyediting and proofreading!

I love working directly with authors and seeing their world of experience through their written words. 

My specialty is evaluating, developing, and polishing a manuscript to its highest potential, while maintaining an author's voice, vision, and style.

I strive to develop a manuscript that is strong in its flow, accuracy, clarity, and consistency while helping to make the book highly marketable.

With nearly 15 years’ experience in the editorial field I have worked as an in-house editor of non-fiction trade books in New York and as a freelance editor and consultant in non-fiction trade books throughout Canada.

I also have an education that compliments my working experiences including earning a Master of Science in Publishing from NYU and attaining the Canadian book industry’s top-ranked designations of Certified Copyeditor and Certified Proofreader from the Editorial Association of Canada.

I work on electronic copy manuscripts using Windows 7, including Office 2010, but will work on “hardcopy” as well.  For proofreading I can work on either hardcopy or using Adobe Acrobat through Adobe CS 5.
