Sheelagh Frame became a professional editor after a career in archaeology. Years of reading, writing and editing academic papers have given her a sharp eye for detail and a ruthless attitude towards interesting, but irrelevant asides. She also has the ability to make specialized or technical material accessible to non-specialists whatever the subject matter.  

Having lived and worked in Croatia, Turkey and Cyprus, she has experienced second language challenges from both sides of the divide. This has taught her to be a sensitive editor for non-native English speakers. She will make sure that neither your ideas, nor your voice get lost in translation.

Sheelagh has a PhD in Archaeology from UC Berkeley and when she’s not editing she still likes to dig things up.
