I’m a book editor and indexer. I’m also a web writer/editor.

As a book editor, I've worked both freelance and in-house with general, legal, and business publishers as well as academic/educational presses. I've edited art catalogues, legal how-to guides, and books on personal finance, natural history, medical technology, and business basics, among other subjects.

My aim is to ensure not only that every book succeeds as a whole but also that every sentence in every book is as clear, informative, and engaging as possible.

As an indexer, I’ve indexed books on sports, politics, nature, health, and history.

As a web writer/editor, I've worked on websites, newsletters, and marketing copy. I understand the demands of web publishing (including search engine optimization) and know how to shape material for online delivery.

I love language and know how to make it work. I’m an EAC-certified copy editor.
