Vasco Castela

Profile

I work primarily with scientific and technical texts, and specialize in substantive and developmental editing, often involving some rewriting. I enjoy working on complex topics, and making texts accessible and interesting to a wider audience.

I am always interested in discussing ideas for joint projects that involve my participation as a writer, particularly if the topic is related to ethics, or can be approached from an ethical point of view.

In addition to editing, I teach philosophy at BCIT and occasionally write for newspapers and magazines on ethical issues. I was a founding editor of Praxis, an academic journal affiliated with the University of Manchester (UK).
