Profile

Decades of experience editing, proofreading, writing, teaching, and managing projects across Canada and beyond for government and corporate clients. Master's degree in Social Policy. Accuracy, timeliness, and conciseness are deeply ingrained in my approach. I work with experienced associates when required. Considerable experience editing the work of multiple authors to produce documents that sound as though they were written by one hand. Extensive knowledge of government policy making milieu. Also experienced in conference publishing, notetaking, and report writing. Teach copy editing, proofreading, and formatting workshops. Have travelled across Canada with public consultations writing, editing, and producing reports. Past President of the Editors’ Association of Canada, and former chair, National Capital Region Branch. When not working on documents, I enjoy flute playing, needlework, reading, or just about anything that gets me moving outdoors.
