As the national newsletter of EAC, Active Voice / Voix active sees itself as host-cum-moderator of a "national conversation" between editors. With this lofty goal in mind, Active Voice / Voix active acts as a public square for editors by regularly publishing their letters, emails and opinion pieces.

Active Voice / Voix active provides readers with industry-related and association news as well as information about professional trends and best practices.

The newsletter aims for a tone that's professional, yet relaxed and direct. We're not afraid to start a sentence with the occasional "And" or "But," to use contractions or to split infinitives where the alternative would sound too formal.
