I offer a variety of editing services for fiction and nonfiction. Whether you are trying to inform, educate, or entertain your readers, I can help you create clear and engaging content that connects with your target audience.
I have been working as a freelance editor since completing Ryerson University's Publishing certificate program in 2019. Before that I earned my Honours BA in French–English translation from the University of Ottawa. I enjoy working with ESL writers and helping them create idiomatic and clear writing. I've helped writers with structure, style, messaging, grammar, and spelling.
Since late 2019, I've also been part of FriesenPress's freelance editing team. I've had the opportunity to evaluate a wide variety of writing and provide feedback that helps authors on their self-publishing journeys.
In nonfiction, I have worked on annual reports and research reports for the UNDP in Lebanon with a focus on the refugee crisis in the Middle East. I've also worked on memoirs about health and health care, PTSD, religion, and geology.
In fiction, I have a particular interest in fantasy, horror, and historical fiction. I enjoy helping authors with world-building, character development, and historical accuracy.
