Experienced public speaker, available to talk to groups and associations about editors and editing.

I am a professional writer; substantive, stylistic and copy editor; proofreader; and communications project manager. My specialties include both long and short fiction and poetry; corporate/government documents, including social media, online and printed public relations and programs material, annual reports and policy documents; reviews; and news and human interest articles.

I have delivered high-quality writing, editing and project management services for more than 20 years. My own fiction, poetry and non-fiction have been published throughout North America. I hold a BA in anthropology, with a minor in professional writing, from the University of Victoria, and can speak and read French and Dutch.

My goals are to help you clearly and engagingly convey exactly what you mean, help you connect with your audience, and ensure the editorial process is collaborative, straightforward and rewarding for you.
