I am an academic editor with over 12 years experience and I am passionate and tenacious about every project I undertake. Let me add polish and clarity to your words and ensure your ideas come through as clearly as possible.  I sharpen arguments and clarify main points, and notice spelling errors, typos, and other proofreading issues that can be the difference between good and great writing.

I have a linguistics degree that includes a minor in Spanish, and I have taken graduate-level courses in ancient languages such as Hebrew and Greek. I have edited book manuscripts, book proposals, book reviews, journal articles, and course materials. I also edit blog posts, social media content, and newsletters, and believe these smaller projects are just as important as book manuscripts. I enjoy learning about new subjects as I edit, and my genuine interest in understanding new concepts will help you achieve maximum readability for your audience.  I have a keen eye for simple errors easily missed and take pride in making sure any writing I edit ends up clean and clear. 

The bulk of my experience (and where my heart lies) is in the Science and Religion arena, particularly material that explores the relationship between the Theory of Evolution and Christian faith. However, I enjoy editing all sorts of subject matter, from website and handout material regarding carpet cleaning to newsletters about the latest advances in animal training.
