Beverley has been writing and editing for business during the various phases of her career; she has worked in the travel industry and in corporate administration for private industry in both Canada and Mexico. Beverley currently works in post-secondary education in Calgary. She is a Spanish-to-English translator and an associate member of ATIA.

Beverley completed the Professional Editing certificate at Mount Royal University, and has significant experienced copy editing, proofreading, and substantive editing.

Recent projects include a proposal for a non-profit organization, a manual for her department at Mount Royal University, and a science fiction novel for the Young Adult genre, and a comprehensive book on an alternative education model. As well, she has translated and edited websites for several Mexican corporations.

For two years, Beverley copy edited the Inglewood Community Association's monthly newsletter, one of the few Calgary neighbourhoods that still independently publishes its own unique monthly newsletter for community residents and businesses.
