Profile

I am a recent MA (English) graduate with several years of experience as a copyeditor, typesetter, and book designer. I was an editor of the small literary journal OK Magpie, have editorial assistant credits on a few issues of Ryga: A Journal of Provocations, have apprenticed for many years at Greenboathouse Press, and am currently the proprietor of Bite Harder Press. I have typeset for Victorian Review and ELS Editions and have over 7 years of desktop publishing experience. Furthermore, I also have extensive experience with writing and editing TEI encoded texts from my time on the digital humanities Lesbian and Gay Liberation in Canada project, and have some experience with other markup languages as well. In addition to my master’s and bachelor’s degrees in English, I also have a diploma in Writing and Publishing. My most extensive editing experience is in academic writing, but I also have editing experience in poetry and short fiction.
