You are here
Whether you are a student that needs someone to enhance your writing while eliminating wordiness and errors, a publishing company looking for a freelance editor with great attention to detail, or a company that is looking for someone to take care of the technical writing aspects so your company can communicate more effectively and efficiently, I know I can help you. I will edit, proofread, and rewrite on any genre and any subject. I will preserve your unique voice while making the text clear, concise, and accessible to your target audience. I have been proofreading and editing on the side of my other jobs for over 15 years, for family, friends, international students, and teachers, and now I am launching into my dream career because I love the English language in all its complexities and exceptions, and I am diligent in my attention to detail.
I became a member of Editors of Canada in November 2018 and delved into the webinars right away. I enjoy honing my skills. I have always loved reading and writing so becoming an editor was a natural step for me.
"I highly recommend Diana Pfeifer. She is an exemplary editor. Her responses were quick and timely and the edits were sharp and thorough. Making use of her talents & keen eye for detail was the best thing that could have happened for me while completing my Master’s degree. Her input and suggestions were able to improve my writing but my personal voice and style were preserved. I really enjoyed working with her to complete a piece of work I was proud of. I just wish I had found her and contracted her services earlier!"

Diana Pfeifer is an outstanding editor with a very strong framework in areas such as an amazing eye for detail, maintaining a professional ethic, positive work habits, and editorial instincts that are second to none. I had the privilege of working with Diana over the last five years. During this time she displayed nothing but a positive attitude and outstanding work ethic. Many times this dyslexic teacher would need assistance at challenging times and dates, and she always delivered. In the past I have worked with many editors; I can tell you with certainty that she will always be my first choice. Diana’s dedication to the job never ceases to amaze me. This is a woman that had taken countless rough drafts of blueprints, curriculum-based exams, and study packets and turned them into highly successful learning tools. Her professionalism on a face-to-face basis, attention to her craft, and pride she takes in her work are second to none.
