Primary contact:

I specialize in editing academic work—theses, grant applications, journal articles, conference papers, and book manuscripts.

I am a trained copy editor with an eye for the big picture as well as the small details. I offer a wide array of editing services from substantive editing to copy editing, and I am adept at bringing documents into line with author style guides, referencing formats, and grant application criteria.

I am a published author with over seven years experience teaching, writing, and researching in universities. I am an experienced writing mentor and have taught academic scholarship skills for four years.

I am a wide reader and my areas of interest are broad. I specialize in the Humanities generally and feminist theory and applied ethics more specifically. Beyond this, I also have experience editing works in philosophy, legal theory, sociology, nursing, education, psychology, second language studies and science.

I am proficient in Canadian and Australian English.

If you have a scholarly document that needs a final polish or even a full renovation, I would love to hear from you. Please contact me with the details of your project.
