Erin Parker
Profile
Professional bookworm and freelance editor of fiction and non-fiction with in-house experience at HarperCollins and Penguin Random House Canada.
I offer manuscript assessments and consultations, structural and substantive editing, stylistic editing, and copy editing of trade books for adults and young readers.
A longtime advocate for authors and readers, I’ve become an expert and empathetic collaborator by wearing many hats—as an editor, writer, teacher, and scholar of literature. Organized, thorough, and approachable, I’m a creative problem solver who always keeps the tiny details and the bigger picture in focus no matter the project. I work with publishers and independent authors considering traditional publishing and self-publishing.
