Primary contact:

Your work, not mine. I help to make your  writing shine. I also add in heart for free. Why wait? You should contact me.

I am a trained professional editor specializing in manuscript, educational materials, and web content editing.

Whether you are writing a creative fiction or non-fiction memoir, educational text or web content for your business, it would be my pleasure to edit for you. My editing services can give your writing a professional advantage over the competition and help you reach your audience in a meaningful way. Let me help bring clarity and a polished edge to your writing project.

I am the owner of Parsons Writing and Editing. Before starting this business, I taught creative and non-fiction writing as a secondary English teacher for fourteen years.  I have dedicated hundreds of hours to editing stories, essays, and more, both inside and outside the classroom.

I have a Certificate in Editing from the Marketing and Communications Program at Simon Fraser University. I also hold B.A. and B.Ed. degrees from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax. My education is truly from coast to coast, and I welcome clients from across Canada.

Building  relationships with people is one of my  favorite parts of being an editor. I value deadlines, exemplary work, and professionalism. Honouring your voice and intent as a writer is a primary focus for me.

Life isn’t always perfect, but if we work together your writing can be! I look forward to hearing from you.
